Always wanted to try your hand at this great art form?
Be introduced to the world of botanical art using pencil and watercolour.
In this intensive one day workshop you will be guided in:
* An overview of Botanical Art
* Sketching and illustrating techniques
* Principles of composition
* Watercolour techniques dry brush and wet on wet
This is particularly designed for people who wish to learn more about botanical art and who are interested in continuing in our term classes.
Cost includes notes and drawings to guide you. Bring your own pencils, sketch pad, watercolours and paint brushes if you have them.
A suggested materials list is available from the community house.

Founded in 1996 by award winning local artist Terry Napier, the group is comprised of enthusiastic students with varying levels of skill. They are committed to attaining the necessary painting and observational abilities to excel in this genre of art.
The main body of classes are taught at the Park Orchards Community House & Learning Centre. Terry also teaches at the Canterbury Neighborhood
